Bill Brings SEA-TAC into the 21st Century

A bill that cleared the Senate this month means an air traffic control system upgrade for SEA-TAC - and that means shorter flights, which is good news all around.

U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., says the bill will mean 12,000 local jobs, planes using less fuel, shorter wait times at the airport, and more.

Sound too good to be true? Time will tell.

“Mystery travel” involves purchasing a vacation package without knowing where you’re going. You’ll get a little info - a region, style of vacation (eco-, foodie, adventure, etc.), and/or distance and length of stay - but the rest is a gamble, and the payoff is big savings.
