Liberal Drinking Policy Go Ahead For Chicago O’Hare & Midway Airports

Chicago’s Mayor Daley has had his controversial plan to allow alcohol to be served from pushcarts at the O’hare Airport & Midway  Airport has been approved. In addition restaurants and bars at the airports will also be allowed to serve booze all night long.

Dissentors of the move are concerned about the increased cost to the airport in policing inebriated passengers and the image that this portrays to the many 1000s of travellers arriving at the city via its major airports.

Some restaurateurs at both O’hare and Midway airport are angered that the $1000 license for the pushcarts are undervalued given they operate 24hrs a day.
