Soldier Proposes in Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport Minnesota

Minneapolis-St.Paul travelers on February 2nd saw something very special at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport: a soldier proposed to his girlfriend. According to Kare11.com, Soldier Matthew Sutherland proposed to Tiffany Ericson. Sutherland is an Army Reservist and serves in Afghanistan. He is home for a mid-tour break and is currently serving his third tour. Sutherland planned the proposal for a year.

He got on one knee and proposed to Tiffany Ericson in the airport as planned. Sutherland had asked for Ericson’s father’s permission to marry his daughter and was given a positive response. Sutherland is now looking forward to his wedding day. Sutherland has six months to complete his service in Afghanistan.
